AUTISMORE
EVENT DESIGN AND VISUAL IDENTITY
On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, Mosaico Studio conceived ‘AUTISMORE – Conscious and concrete’, a project that seeks to raise awareness on this topic through sport, art and technology.
The initiative, which aims to make the inclusion of people living with autism spectrum disorder a reality, was promoted by Prof. Luigi Mazzone, Professor and Director of the Child Neuropsychiatry Unit at Tor Vergata University in Rome, and Gianluca Nicoletti, a journalist who has been engaged for several years in the spreading of information and good practices in favour of people with neurodivergence. The initiative was presented in Rome, at Spazio Europa Experience David Sassoli, by the promoters of the event and well-known sport and show business personalities who are sensitive to the issue.

THE EVENT AT URBE
With the support of the Italian Air Force and the National Fencing Federation, on 2 April at the Urbe airport in Rome, ‘Fencing for Autism’ marked the first edition of an integrated fencing competition, where mixed teams of autistic youngsters and their peers with the participation of Olympic champions competed in various fencing matches.
The backdrop to the competition was provided by the paintings of the young boys and girls who, through the ‘Aut in Art’ workshop at the Tor Vergata Polyclinic’s Child Neuropsychiatry department, expressed their emotions through colours.
