THE PROJECT
“Io, Robotto – Automi da compagnia” is the exhibition dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and entertainment robotics hosted by the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan from October 2019 to January 2020.
Inside the exhibition, visitors are guided by an AI; the female voice of Alexa, the voice assistant developed by Amazon, has the task of accompanying visitors and answering their questions.
Mosaico Studio was responsible for the design and layout of the Amazon lounge area.
THE EXHIBITION
The exhibition features over one hundred automata that have made the history of robotics, narrated in 17 themed areas distributed over a total space of 1500 square metres. The path proposed by the exhibition aims at reconstructing the history of robotics through the most significant stages, from the Little Jammers Pro reproduction system to the Robocco refrigerator robot created by a well-known Japanese beer brand, passing through the very famous Emiglio, Furby and many others.
The Amazon lounge area designed by Mosaico Studio is presented as a living room, a comfortable and relaxing environment that visitors can visit before and after the exhibition.
